3 Free Unlimited Online Free Photo Storage Websites for Photo Sharing

Here are some free online photo sharing websites that let you store unlimited photos online for free. This gives a better option than websites such as Picasa which give just 1GB of free storage.

Most of these websites make money by other methods, like offering you easy photo printing options. So, they are able to offer unlimited free online photo storage.

1) Shutterfly

Shutterfly has been my favorite unlimited online photo storage website since quite a long time. It has been featuring free unlimited online photo storage since I remember. There is really no restriction on number of photos that you can upload. I have upload many GBs of photos to Shutterfly, and have never received any type of alert from them. Shutterfly prominently mentions on its website that it has never deleted any photo.

Shutterfly lets you easily share photos with your friends and family. For that, Shutterfly lets you easily create your photo sharing website with your own URL (like shutterfly.com/john_family). You can share this URL with all your friends and family. You are free to decide which photos you want to share. Your friends do not need to signup or login to see your photo gallery.

Shutterfly not only provides free unlimited online photo storage, it also makes it extremely easy to upload your photos online. You can install a small plugin in your browser, and then select all the photos that you want to upload. Shutterfly will take care of uploading all the photos easily.

Shutterfly also provides a nice photo editing software for free. You can use that to edit your photos before uploading, and also to upload photos to Shutterfly.

You can upload unlimited number of photos, and keep them forever for free. Apart from that, you can easily share photos with your friends and family.

Snapfish provides some really easy photo sharing options. You can even create a private group room where people can comment on your photos.

Snapfish also makes it extremely easy to upload your photos. There are 3 ways to upload photos to your Snapfish account:

• Upload photos directly from your web browser
• Email photos as attachment to Snapfish email address
• And my favorite option: Use PictureMover software from Snapfish. This software copies all the photos from your camera or USB sticks, and uploads them to your Snapfish account, as well as copy them to your computer.

Snapfish also provides easy photo printing options.

3) Facebook

Facebook has quickly become the most popular photo sharing website. Tons of photos are uploaded to Facebook everyday.

Facebook lets you upload unlimited number of photos, and share with your friends. However, I do not know if photos uploaded on Facebook can be shared with those who are not on Facebook.

Moreover, there has been lot of buzz around mishandling of privacy by Facebook (you can easily manage that through facebook privacy manager software).

There are lot of Facebook photo uploaders available to upload photos to facebook, and it is extremely easy to download complete facebook albums.

Note: There are other free unlimited photo sharing sites also out there, but I left out some of them deliberately. Like, Kodak Gallery provides unlimited free storage, but you have to make at least 1 purchase every year.
